[Remote] Workday/Fabric Data Engineer

They are seeking a Workday/Fabric Data Engineer to provide technical expertise in support of business intelligence initiatives, including designing and maintaining data solutions to meet the institution’s strategic objectives.ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level business and systems analyst and technical expertise during all phases of data mart/business intelligence lifecycleParticipate in data mart and business intelligence development effortsParticipate in architecture of data mart/business intelligence projectsWork with analysts, programmers, business process owners, and end-users to determine scope and requirements for data mart/business intelligence solutionsPerform analysis, database and meta-data modeling, and establish logical and physical design for reporting solutionsDevelop technical infrastructure for data mart/business intelligence initiativesDevelop reports and business intelligence solutions to meet key business needs for critical administrative systemsProvide senior level guidance to other staff with report development questions and provide mentoring on report development approachesLead mid-sized to large technical and business intelligence projectsProvide operational support for business intelligence solutions and respond to changes required by upgrades, regulatory requirements, etcOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree and six years of experience in information technology field, Master's and four years, or combination of education and experience equal to ten yearsDemonstrated experience with Workday reports (matrix, advanced, and composite) and data exportExperience with Workday security model and Business ObjectsExperience with Workday HCM/FIN and/or StudentAbility to lead technical projectsExcellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical clientsExperience with higher education information technology systemsCompany OverviewUniversity of New Hampshire is a school that offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across a range of academic disciplines.
