[Remote] Workday Senior/Consultant, Financials for Production Services

The Senior Financials Consultant role is essential in providing high-quality service to Production Services customers for Workday Financials requests, involving troubleshooting, developing solutions, and ensuring customer understanding of issues.ResponsibilitiesServe as a key member of the Alchemy’s Production Services team, triaging customer cases/requests, evaluating and understanding customers’ business requirements, troubleshooting issues, and updating or optimizing configuration in the area of Workday Financials on a daily basisGather requirements or assess customer Workday Financials configuration issues, design and configure solutions, perform functionality demonstrations in the tenant, assist with testing of Workday Financials integration solutions, and ensure effective knowledge transfer is provided to the customerProvide advanced support and guidance for in the functional areas of Financial Accounting, Budgets, Banking, Asset Management, and ProcurementBe able to multitask and reprioritize workload based on the priorities of new requests and the evolving priorities of existing casesAssess, arrange, and organize workload to reach your billable utilization target most weeksCollaborate effectively and synergistically with other Alchemy workstream leads and consultantsWork directly with the Production Services Senior Manager to keep them apprised of overall case statuses in the Workday Financials area, highlighting and customer concerns or potential risksIdentify the scope and the level of effort involved in case requestsParticipate in internal initiatives and process improvementMaintain Workday certifications and qualificationsCollaborate effectively and synergistically on team-based cases (when multiple consultants are involved) and Phase X projectsEnsure customers understand and takes advantage of Alchemy and Workday best practicesHelp ensure customers remain referenceableTake advantage of training opportunities to expand your skillsetStrive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectivelySkillsActive Workday Financials partner certifications (Workday Financials Record to Report Certification)Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including production support and implementation experienceStrong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and compliance requirementsProven experience in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system optimization within a Workday production environmentExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated proficiency in delivering exceptional customer serviceAbility to manage multiple priorities, caseload, and work effectively under pressureExperience with integrations, reporting, and data management in Workday FinancialsBuild Strong Client Partnerships: No travel required, with the opportunity to develop deep, meaningful relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing impactful solutionsEngage in High-Impact Projects: While the role may initially focus on Phase I projects, there is significant opportunity to contribute to Phase X follow-on initiatives, providing exposure to larger, high-visibility projects and career growthDemonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and with customersThis role blends deep customer relationship management with limited travel, as it primarily supports Production Services clients.
