The Senior Extreme Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, and act as a subject matter expert for all matters related to Extreme Networks solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient network architectures leveraging Extreme Networks products such as ExtremeSwitching, ExtremeRouting, and ExtremeWireless solutions.
Develop comprehensive network solutions that incorporate technologies like Fabric Connect for simplified network management and VXLAN for efficient virtualization.
Lead the deployment of cutting-edge Extreme Networks hardware, including Summit and BlackDiamond series switches, and configure advanced features such as stacking, VLANs, and dynamic routing protocols.
Implement and optimize ExtremeWireless solutions, including access points, controllers, and cloud-driven management for seamless wireless connectivity.
Utilize ExtremeAnalytics to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, addressing any bottlenecks or issues promptly.
Implement advanced features like Application Analytics and Control to enhance network visibility and ensure optimal performance for critical applications.
