[Remote] Volunteer Director of Public Relations – Nonprofit

Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose, Daughters of Promise is a mission-driven nonprofit seeking a Volunteer Director of Public Relations to enhance their public presence and community engagement. The role involves leading PR strategies, managing social media, and serving as the organization's public-facing voice.
Responsibilities
• Lead PR strategy, media outreach, and storytelling
• Manage social media and external communications
• Collaborate with our leadership team on campaigns and events
• Serve as the organization’s public-facing voice
Skills
• Experience in PR, communications, or marketing (nonprofit/startup a plus)
• Strong writing, editing, and social media skills
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
• Passion for our mission and ability to commit 5–10 hrs/week
