Job Description:
Painting and shading cameras
Screening, troubleshooting, and maintaining the technical operations of our remote events
Providing technical engineering support for the preparation, planning, and execution of a wide variety of events
Key Responsibilities:
Adjusting video levels, black/white balance, and color balance between all cameras
Switching and routing video, working with the video team to set up screens for talent and the show
Troubleshooting any video issues, including camera, cabling, lens, and other technical concerns
Managing and organizing remote compound video, fiber optic cable, and source lists
Coordinating, planning, and developing workflows with the support of Events and Production partners
Introduction to system design and integration, including video path, fiber-connected systems, digital video compression and transmission protocols, computer networking, Master Control facilities, and hub and storage systems
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of live production equipment operations
Proficient in reading and operating a waveform/vectorscope (graphics - SDI and IP, HD, UHD, and HDR)
Managing overall camera look and shading requirements
Monitoring and adjusting signals and screens as needed
Setting up, operating, and striking video equipment on location as needed
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills using technical expertise and solid technical tools to effectively communicate issues and solutions
Flexibility to travel and work on Saturdays, Sundays, and events as scheduled and show needs require
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated strong knowledge of broadcast equipment and remote production show needs
Knowledge of fiber optic systems and cabling
