[Remote] Vice President, Service Line & Provider Growth Planning

This senior enterprise leader will be responsible for shaping and activating growth strategies across the organization, integrating service line planning, clinical workforce planning, and provider network development into a cohesive system.ResponsibilitiesLead enterpriseâwide service line planning in close partnership with Service Line and Clinical Operations leadershipâdefining strategic priorities, growth pathways, and access and capacity implications across the systemEstablish a consistent, dataâinformed service line planning framework that integrates enterprise strategy, market opportunity, clinical capabilities, workforce realities, and divisionâlevel executionPartner with Division Strategy & Growth leaders to translate enterprise service line strategies into divisionâspecific plans, initiatives, and roadmaps that are integral to the division strategies, plans and executionEnsure service line strategies are aligned with enterprise and division portfolio priorities, capital planning, and performance objectivesLead enterprise and divisionâlevel clinical workforce planning, ensuring alignment between service line growth strategies, access goals, care models, and provider supplyIdentify current and future provider gaps by specialty, geography, and site of care; translate insights into actionable workforce strategiesPartner closely with a broad set of enterprise and division leadership to curate the provider pipeline as well develop, negotiate and implement partnership modelsEstablish repeatable planning processes, standards, and analytics that enable proactive workforce decisionâmaking rather than reactive gapâfillingLead enterprise and division level provider network growth strategy, including provider acquisition, employment, partnerships, affiliations, and other alignment modelsDefine and prioritize provider growth opportunities in coordination with service line and workforce plans, ensuring the right alignment model is deployed for each strategic needCollaborate with enterprise and division leaders on practice acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic affiliationsEnsure consistent enterprise standards and disciplined execution across provider network development efforts, while allowing for divisionâspecific tailoringTranslate strategy into execution by developing clear, sequenced plans with defined ownership, milestones, interdependencies, and success measuresServe as the enterprise integrator across service line strategy, workforce planning, and provider growthâensuring these disciplines operate as a unified system rather than siloed effortsPartner closely with Strategic Analytics to ensure planning is grounded in consistent analytics, market intelligence, and performance insightsInterlock with Division Strategy & Growth, Strategic Analytics, Diversified Growth, Enterprise Business Development, Managed Health, and other enterprise functions to ensure alignment and value captureAct as a trusted strategic advisor to senior enterprise, service line, and clinical leadersâbringing a clear point of view, strong analytic grounding, and pragmatic execution focusEstablish governance, operating rhythms, and decisionâmaking forums that enable transparency, accountability, and timely escalation of tradeoffsDrive a culture of collaboration, disciplined planning, and outcomesâoriented execution across enterprise and division stakeholdersBuild, lead, and develop a highâperforming team as applicable, setting clear expectations, standards, and development pathwaysSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Strategy, Economics, Public Health, or a related field10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare strategy, growth planning, service line strategy, provider growth, or related enterprise roles within a complex health system or academic medical centerDemonstrated experience leading enterpriseâlevel service line planning, clinical workforce planning, provider network development, or closely related disciplinesProven ability to translate strategy into executionâbuilding actionable plans, operating mechanisms, and governance structures that deliver measurable outcomesExperience working effectively with senior clinical, operational, and administrative leaders in a highly matrixed environmentStrong track record of leading crossâfunctional initiatives that integrate analytics, strategy, and operational executionExperience with provider alignment models (employment, partnerships, affiliations, acquisitions) and their strategic, operational, and financial implications is highly desirableDeep understanding of healthcare service line economics, provider workforce dynamics, and growth strategyStrategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear priorities and decisionsHighly executionâoriented leader who brings structure, discipline, and followâthroughExceptional collaboration, influence, and communication skills;
