[Remote] Vice President of Administration and Finance

Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) is an international Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel and supporting churches in Eastern Europe and surrounding regions. The Vice President of Administration & Finance will provide executive leadership across financial, administrative, and operational functions, ensuring organizational effectiveness and sustainability while supporting SGA's mission.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and oversight of all financial operations and accounting functionsOversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial planningEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards and GAAPMaintain strong internal controls and financial accountabilityCoordinate annual audits and relationships with external auditorsProvide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the BoardLead organizational administration and operational infrastructureEvaluate and improve systems, workflows, and organizational processesStrengthen organizational accountability, communication, and operational effectivenessOversee vendor relationships, facilities coordination, and administrative servicesDevelop scalable systems that support long-term organizational growth and sustainabilitySupport Board and committee reporting processesEnsure compliance with legal, financial, and organizational requirementsMaintain organizational policies, insurance coverage, compliance records, and operational documentationHelp ensure adherence to ECFA standards and ministry stewardship commitmentsProvide leadership, coaching, and development for accounting and administrative staffFoster a culture of collaboration, humility, accountability, and servant leadershipAssist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing future operational leadersClarify responsibilities and strengthen team effectiveness across departmentsSupport oversight of international ministry financial operations and fund distribution processesMaintain awareness of international financial compliance considerations and ministry funding structuresAssist with stewardship of international banking relationships and ministry operationsOversee payroll processes and related operational controlsPartner with outsourced HR providers regarding employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, policies, and HR best practicesSupport organizational compliance with employment-related requirementsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related fieldMinimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, administration, operations, or nonprofit leadershipExperience overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, audits, and organizational systemsStrong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, financial reporting, and operational stewardshipDemonstrated leadership, organizational, and process-improvement experienceProficiency with accounting systems, reporting tools, and advanced ExcelNonprofit and/or ministry experienceInternational ministry finance or global nonprofit operations experienceCPA, MBA, or related professional credentialBenefitsA comprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewSlavic Gospel Association is a Christian missions organization founded in 1934.
