[Remote] Vice President Information Security

Aspect Software develops world-class Workforce Engagement Management software, and they are seeking a Vice President of Information Security. This role involves leading the company's information security strategy, fostering a security-first culture, and ensuring compliance with global security standards while influencing across the organization. Responsibilities • Define and articulate a multi-year security strategy that aligns with business goals • Present the security vision, progress, and risk posture to the Board of Directors and executive leadership • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse and high-performing team of security professionals • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement • Establish and maintain a robust GRC framework • Drive compliance with global security standards, certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements • Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from the ground up, ensuring our products are secure by default • Stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape • Develop and lead a world-class incident response program, ensuring we can detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents with speed and effectiveness • Act as the primary internal and external evangelist for Aspect's security program, building a strong security culture and communicating our commitment to customers and partners Skills • 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 8+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director, VP, CISO) managing large, multi-disciplinary teams • Proven track record of developing and implementing a security strategy that directly enables business growth and innovation • Ability to translate complex technical risks into clear business terms for executive leaders • Deep technical background and a strong understanding of security principles across various domains, including application, cloud, and corporate security • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships • Ability to engage with engineers, legal counsel, and the C-suite with equal effectiveness • Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations with calm and clarity • Experience as a public-facing security leader or speaker • Experience with a global, at-scale technology company • Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar Benefits • Highly competitive compensation package • Comprehensive benefits Company Overview • Aspect Software is a Communications Software Provider.
