They are seeking a VP of BioPharma Sales to drive growth across pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations, focusing on building relationships and expanding the adoption of their platform and services.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the commercial strategy for assigned pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts, ensuring alignment with BostonGene's long-term growth objectivesOwn revenue performance, pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and strategic account planning within assigned territory or business segmentIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companiesBuild and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Clinical Development, Translational Medicine, Biomarker Strategy, Precision Medicine, Medical Affairs, Computational Biology, and Executive Leadership functions, serving as a trusted advisor to senior customer leadersDevelop a deep understanding of customer objectives, clinical development programs, and scientific challenges to position BostonGene solutions effectivelyLead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, technical evaluations, proposal development, contract negotiations, and executive presentationsIdentify and prioritize high-value market opportunities, customer segments, and partnership strategies to accelerate business growthCollaborate closely with Executive Leadership, Scientific, Medical, Product, and Delivery teams to align commercial activities with company objectives, market needs, and successful project executionServe as a commercial leader within the organization, helping shape go-to-market strategy, account prioritization, pricing, customer engagement models, and overall commercial strategyProvide leadership in strategic account reviews, business planning, and commercial operating processes to ensure consistent execution and growthRecruit, mentor, and develop commercial talent as the organization growsRepresent BostonGene at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and customer eventsMaintain a strong understanding of oncology drug development trends, precision medicine, biomarker strategies, and the competitive landscapeProvide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development, commercial strategy, and future growth initiativesConsistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfactionSkillsBachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Immunology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline12+ years of successful sales, business development, account management, or commercial leadership experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, CRO, precision medicine, or oncology-focused organizationsDemonstrated success driving commercial growth and developing strategic partnerships for complex scientific, technology-enabled, or data-driven solutionsWorking knowledge of oncology drug development, clinical trials, translational medicine, biomarkers, and precision medicineProven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Clinical Development, Translational Medicine, Precision Medicine, Medical Affairs, Research, and Commercial organizationsStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear business value for both scientific and executive audiencesSelf-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentWillingness to travel as needed to support customer meetings, conferences, and business development activitiesAdvanced scientific degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MS)Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing commercial talentCompany OverviewBostonGene is a biomedical software company for advanced patient analysis and personalized therapy in the fight against cancer.
