Quantix, Inc. is seeking a highly technical and passionate Technical Writer to lead the documentation of their VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployment and architecture initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and deployment teams to create deployment guides, reference architectures, and operational runbooks for complex cloud environments.ResponsibilitiesCreate Deployment Documentation: Author, maintain, and refine structured, task-based technical documents for VCF deployments, Day 0/Day 1 configurations, and workload migrationsCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), systems architects, and field engineers to capture complex information and ensure absolute technical accuracy in your draftsPlatform Specialization: Document and explain the integration of core VCF components, including SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria SuiteSimplify the Complex: Transform intricate infrastructure processes, software-defined networking (SDN), and lifecycle management (LCM) into clear, step-by-step documentation for enterprise usersReview and Edit: Review architectural drafts, build guides, and best-practice documents, enforcing consistency, tone, and claritySecurity Patching Documentation: Document and Track security patchingSkillsMinimum of 4-6+ years of experience researching, writing, and editing product documentation for enterprise software, hardware, or IT infrastructureHands-on experience or deep familiarity with VCF deployment, upgrades, and software-defined data center (SDDC) componentsWorking knowledge of technical writing and publishing tools such as Jira, Git, and ConfluenceSolid foundational understanding of vSphere, vSAN, and NSX topologiesAbility to explain, in writing, complex technical concepts concisely with a proven track record of interviewing technical experts to gather detailsMust have writing samples with submissionBenefitsLapyop: ProvidedCompany Overview*We at Quantix prioritize your privacy.
