[Remote] User Experience Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Arke is a full-service experience design and technology consultancy seeking a User Experience Designer to join their growing team. The role focuses on translating complex business challenges into intuitive digital experiences, requiring collaboration with creative and development teams in an agile environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through methods such as journey mapping, persona development, heuristic evaluations, and usability testingSupport or participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, UX audits (including AI-readiness evaluations), user testing and research synthesisContribute to information architecture, including content hierarchies, structured content planning, and navigation strategyCreate key UX deliverables such as user flows, journey maps, wireframes, sitemaps, and low- to mid-fidelity prototypesContribute to the design of AI-informed experiences, including prompt journeys, GPT discovery flows, and conversational interfacesDesign conversion-focused experiences, including eCommerce flows, PLPs/PDPs, and filtering or cart functionalityApply accessibility, mobile-responsiveness, and usability best practices across all deliverablesCollaborate closely with creative, technical, and engagement teams to ensure alignment across strategy, design, and implementationParticipate in evolving Arke’s UX practice, including contributing to internal standards, processes, and innovation initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in digital-first environments3-6 years of experience designing digital experiences across platforms and devicesStrong experience in wireframing, journey mapping, user flows, and prototypingAbility to interpret research, user testing, and behavioral data into practical UX solutionsWorking knowledge of Figma, Miro, or similar prototyping and collaboration toolsFamiliarity with HTML/CSS and responsive frameworks; understanding how designs translate into front-end developmentExposure to CMS-driven experiences and structured content modelsInterest in emerging technologies and interfaces, including AI-enhanced or conversational experiencesUnderstanding of visual design fundamentals (typography, hierarchy, layout, grid systems)BenefitsHealth, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) plan that includes up to a 4% company matchSelf-manage their personal time offOpportunities for ongoing learning, mentorship, and professional developmentCompetitive compensation and access to growth and collaboration with our cross-cultural teamsCompany OverviewArke offers gastronomy products and sustainable kitchen essentials.
