The Affiliated, MGA and Carrier Programs Manager will be responsible for developing and managing sales and relationships within this channel while executing growth strategies and maintaining client relationships.ResponsibilitiesSet and manage strategies to optimize resources, enhance market presence, and drive high performanceIn concert with marketing and leadership team, manage marketing strategy for the channelCreate and develop programs for channel and ensure its implementationAligning with the division’s strategy, develop metrics for third party, MGA and carrier programs, and ensure the successful achievement sales goalsMaintain sales management and reporting tools to achieve business objectivesDevelop effective sales strategy and ensure its timely implementationTravel throughout the country to assess performance, resolve problems, communicate directives, and drive engagement with business partners and sales employeesFormulate and implement policies, sales management procedures and processesManage client relationships and work with sales reps and account executivesKeep current with demand and supply of company’s services, changing trends and its competitorsDevelop creative sales technique and tactics to meet business goalsDevelop sales presentations and RFP’s for clientsRecruit and train sales employees for effective deliveryParticipate in market strategy building by providing useful information from sales activitiesWork with Director of Operations and technology team to ensure infrastructure and procedures evolve to support channel growth, and provide solutions required by third party and program partnersManage budgets, reviews and approves expendituresMaintain working knowledge of bank policies and proceduresPractices ethical sales behaviors in accordance with Ameris’ core values of Integrity and Honesty; always acts in the best interest of the customer when offering additional products and servicesSkillsAble to develop and implement overall strategy, contributing to the culture and financial success of the company with specific expertise in strategic growth planning and execution, sales strategy and client relationship strategyAble to effectively and persuasively express self, using language and grammar in a professional mannerAble to plan, schedule and organize a professional schedule to achieve strategic goals within or ahead of established time framesAbility to negotiate, drive consensus, manage and resolve conflictAdvanced ability to research, analyze, identify viable options, draw sound conclusions, present findings and make thoughtful recommendations considering overall risk and short-term and long-term impactHighly motivated to exceed established targets.
