Cloetta is Northern Europe’s leading confectionery company, and they are seeking a U.S. Trade Marketing & Brand Activation Manager to support the execution of marketing initiatives and retailer activation programs in the U.S. market. This role involves managing marketing plans, adapting global assets for local engagement, and collaborating with various teams to enhance brand growth across multiple channels.ResponsibilitiesExecute U.S. marketing initiatives aligned with global brand strategies and prioritiesAdapt global assets and toolkits for U.S. retailer and consumer needsCoordinate project timelines and own the successful delivery of marketing programsEnsure consistent brand execution across retail, digital, and experiential touchpointsCreate sell-in materials, retailer programs, and shopper marketing initiativesLead retailer presentations, category reviews, and activation plans alongside the Sales teamLead retail promotions and retailer-specific marketing programsEnsure brand consistency across all retailer-facing materialsIndependently manage trade shows, sampling events, retailer meetings, and consumer experiences that introduce Cloetta brands to U.S. shoppersOwn influencer, social, and experiential programs in partnership with agency partnersExecute launch initiatives and promotional programs across key channelsManage U.S. creative, digital, PR, and experiential agenciesManage timelines, project deliverables, and activation calendarsConnect global and local stakeholders to ensure aligned executionAnalyze U.S. consumer trends, category dynamics, and competitive activity to inform business strategy and decision-makingLead evaluation of marketing and promotional performance, providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize effectivenessIdentify and drive opportunities to enhance retailer partnerships, strengthening engagement and activation impactSkills3–6 years in trade marketing, shopper marketing, retailer marketing, brand activation, or related CPG marketing rolesExperience supporting retailer programs and retailer-facing initiativesProven ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders and channelsExperience working with agencies, sales teams, and cross-functional partnersStrong communication, presentation, and organizational skillsStrong execution and project management capabilitiesCommercially aware and customer-focusedCollaborative and team-orientedComfortable operating in a fast-moving growth environmentOrganized, proactive, and adaptableWilling to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever neededComfortable operating with ambiguity and managing multiple prioritiesExperience within food, beverage, confectionery, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries preferredBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and 401k with company matchGenerous PTO packagePerformance bonusFlexible working hours, we are a big advocate of a good work-life balance.Company OverviewCloetta is a confectionary company that offers sugar confectionery and chocolate products.
