[Remote] Total Loss Specialist

The Total Loss Specialist I will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and processing functions related to Total Loss and Insurance Repair requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and service levels while handling high volume calls from customers and vendors.ResponsibilitiesHandle and process assigned volume within Total Loss and Insurance Repair processes for appropriate handling within established SLA, policy and proceduresService Potential and Actual Total Loss and Insurance Repair calls within established call handling and correspondence requirementsComplete end to end Total Loss and Insurance Repair functions with accuracy and in compliance with regulations, policy and procedureAssist other departments as well as Total Loss and Insurance Repair vendors as neededOther duties as assignedSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of experience in servicing center environmentAptitude to evaluate and assess information and demonstrate sound business decision making abilityBasic math skills required to calculate overall company cost benefit analysis including Insurance claimsDetail oriented with a keen focus on accuracy and all aspects surrounding Loss MitigationAbility to work in a production, goal, and quality based environmentEstablished verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and WordAbility to maintain confidentialityAdaptable to changes within a face paced environmentExperience within auto finance industryExperience in Total Loss and/or Insurance Repair processesKnowledge of Total Loss, Insurance Repair and/or Insurance regulations, requirements and structureGeneral knowledge of collections policies and procedures and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)Company OverviewExeter Finance is a finance company that deals with automotive financial services.
