[Remote] Test Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Test Engineer to perform automated testing on various telephony and networking hardware. The role involves executing test scripts, analyzing results, and documenting findings to support research and development efforts. Responsibilities Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner Skills 1+ years of experience with automated testing, developing and executing test scripts to perform system testing, and analyzing results Experience creating test cases and procedures Experience developing with Python Experience working within a DevOps environment Experience using Python testing frameworks, including PyTest, unittest, nose2, doctest, Robot, tox, or hypothesis Knowledge of integrating testing processes into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Ability to test multiple lab environments following formal testing methods and manage discrepancy reports identified during testing Ability to perform system testing in support of various development efforts TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED Experience developing and building multiple lab environments Experience working in a Linux environment Experience working in an Agile environment Experience working with GIT Knowledge of Splunk Knowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration frameworks Benefits Health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits Paid leave Professional development Tuition assistance Work-life programs Dependent care Recognition awards program Company Overview Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering.
