Main Sail, LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to support solution development and partner engagement in the Digital Engineering and Manufacturing sector. The role focuses on leveraging technical expertise to drive solution-driven sales, including technical proposal writing, demonstrations, and customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and articulate technical solution architectures that integrate full-stack software components with leading PLM, MRO, and manufacturing optimization platformsTranslate customer mission and operational requirements into practical, implementable digital engineering and manufacturing workflowsDeliver product demonstrations, technical deep-dives, and capability briefings to support customer understandingCollaborate with engineering, delivery, and proposal teams to scope, validate, and estimate implementation effortsStay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain competitiveBuild and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, integrators, and solution partnersCoordinate with partner teams to deliver joint demos, co-develop solution concepts, and ensure architectural alignmentParticipate in partner forums, industry events, and technical workshops to represent the organizationServe as a trusted advisor by understanding technical challenges and recommending effective PLM, MRO, and full-stack software solutionsConduct routine customer check-ins to ensure solution success and support long-term technical planningAssist in developing technical narratives and value propositions for proposalsSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline3–7 years of experience in technical sales support, solutions engineering, or enterprise software technical rolesExperience with PLM, MRO, or manufacturing optimization systems, including digital threads, digital twins, and engineering data management, supply chain coordination, operational analytics, and/or process optimizationFull-stack development experience - cloud-native apps, distributed application architectures, user experience & interaction layer, and/or DevSecOpsExperience with data integration, such as API-driven integrations, orchestration, middleware, microservices, master data alignment, cloud and hybrid connectivityExperience with analytics/AI, such as intelligent process automation, autonomous workflows, predictive analytics, context-aware agents, AI governance, data quality, security & complianceExperience supporting or working with federal agencies (DoD, NASA, Client, or civilian)Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to collaborate across engineering, delivery, capture, and leadership teamsAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance if requiredBenefitsDirect engagement with digital engineering, PLM, MRO, and manufacturing optimization technologies.Opportunities to help shape a growing portfolio of enterprise solution offerings.A collaborative environment focused on innovation, mission impact, and continuous learning.Exposure to federal and commercial clients pursuing modernization and transformation initiatives.Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.Company OverviewMain Sail is an information technology company specializing in business process management services.
