[Remote] Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager will successfully deliver a variety of operational Support and Managed Services projects to both internal and external customers of Smarsh’s compliance archiving products.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and implementation of multiple Support and Managed Services projectsAgree and manage project scope, achieve project goals and meet project deliverablesDevelop high-level and detailed project plansDefine project tasks and resource requirementsPlan and schedule project timelinesImplement project plans successfullyAssemble and coordinate project staffMonitor and control project deliverablesIdentify and manage risksCo-ordinate and drive escalationsLeads technical problem-solving and resolving any obstacles to project progressEffectively communicate and report on project status to PMO & StakeholdersManage project timelines and both fiscal and resourcing budgetsTrack project deliverables using appropriate toolsSkillsFirst Level University degree. Advanced University degree advantageousProven track record of project management in a highly technical environmentProven track record of successfully achieving objectives, managing complex solutions and delivering quality resultsProficient in project management softwareSeven to ten years working in a technical capacity in an IT environment (SaaS preferred, messaging or archiving is advantageous)Experience working in a technical, professional services project environmentExperience working with both internal and external stakeholdersConcurrent project management of multiple technology projectsProject Management accreditation and proven familiarity with PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL etc. is advantageousManage multiple projects to ensure they meet all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through effective planning, control and managementProvide effective and timely written and oral communication of project status, risks and issues – both internally and to Smarsh's CustomersCollaborate with other technical and account teams throughout Smarsh globally to deliver quality solutions to our CustomersWork on complex problems/projects, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factorsExercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectivesApply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business and technical issues, frequently contributing to the development of new ideas, process improvements and establishing policiesBenefitsAny applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process.The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training.Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.Company OverviewSmarsh manage the risk and see the value in their communications data.
