[Remote] Federal Developer (AWS/Amazon Connect)

Thunder is expanding its AWS partnership and is looking for an Amazon Connect Developer to help build and optimize cutting-edge cloud solutions. The role involves architecting and managing advanced contact center solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and build AWS Connect infrastructure using a service-oriented architecture and AWS core services (API Gateway, Lambda, Lex (Voice/Chatbots) , Polly, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Bedrock, and more)Develop automation scripts (such as cloud formation) to optimize operational processes, serverless functions, and cloud integrationsAnalyze business processes and translate them into Amazon Connect standalone and AWS-integrated Salesforce solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage AWS and Salesforce integrated projectsStay updated with AWS and Salesforce releases, leveraging new features to improve cloud and CRM functionalitySkills3-5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS development, cloud architecture, and automation in the Federal spaceExpertise in AWS services, including some of the following: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudTrail, IAM, Amazon Q, Bedrock, and CloudWatchDeep knowledge of serverless computing, event-driven architectures, and microservicesExperience building AI-driven chatbots with Amazon Lex and designing contact center solutions using Amazon ConnectUnderstanding of call flows, IVR trees, email/chat channel design, and contact center operationsProficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Node.js, or similar)Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetAbility to work flexible hours to align with US time zones as project work requiresExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across global teamsMust Be a U.S. Citizen (required)Willingness to attain a U.S. Security Clearance (e.g., Public Trust, Secret) as required by specific projects.
