[Remote] Technical Program Manager (MedTech)

They are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead development projects in the MedTech domain, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to design controls throughout the program lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates directly with technical resources within the Product Development and manufacturing teams including stakeholders from several support functions to assemble bottom’s up schedules, establishing key project goals, milestones, and metrics for measuring successEnsures timely and efficient execution of both large- and small-scale technical programs through development of project timelines, tracking of major milestones and management of key dependencies, critical paths and risk registerEnsures adherence to the appropriate design controls and Product Development processes throughout program executionFacilitate and participate in technical discussions within R&D and cross-functional teamsInitiates proactive discussions with stakeholders to align on expectations and dependencies while fostering trusting and professional working relationshipsOversees program execution inclusive of post development activities including, but not limited to design transfer, E2E business continuity and launch readiness as necessaryAssembles and reports program metrics and communicates program status and deliverables for project teamsSupports multi-disciplinary engineering teams and cross-functional partners in project management needs as requiredSkillsBS degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Software) or related technical field required10+ years of experience leading development projects, ideally with a demonstrated record of transferring design changes to manufacturing and taking new products from development to commercialization5+ years of engineering experience in a professional environment, requiring extensive cross-functional collaborationProven ability to influence without authority, enabling coordination and alignment of matrixed resourcesStrong project management skills including budgeting, planning, tracking, organization, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and critical thinking, and sound engineering fundamentalsStrong technical abilities, grounded in ethics and sound decision-making processesExcellent interpersonal skills, enabling strong alignment with internal / external partners and can navigate conflict constructivelyEffective communication and presentation abilities, with demonstrated ability to synthesize information clearly and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiencesSoftware/tools: Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Atlassian tools (JIRA, confluence)Master's degree, M.B.A. or P.M.P. certification a strong plusExperience with technical product development teams and design transfer processes with embedded systems - medical device experience is strongly preferredBenefitsFlexible work schedules and opportunities to work from homeContinuing education classes, professional certification and training (technical, soft skills, language, and communication skills)Health and life insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insuranceA matched contribution 401K planFlexible spending accountsPTO and holidaysCompany OverviewGlobalLogic is a product development services company that specializes in chip-to-cloud software engineering.
