[Remote] Technical Business Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Accion Labs is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with expertise in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations Analytics. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and data teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure analytics deliverables align with business expectations.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirementsUnderstand and document KPI definitions, business rules, calculation logic, filters, dimensions, and reporting expectationsSupport requirements for SCM KPIs such as inventory, delivery, working capital, cost, people, order fill, vendor OTD, lead time, freight cost, PPV, and related operational measuresPartner with data engineers and BI engineers to translate business requirements into data mapping, transformation, semantic model, and reporting specificationsHelp identify source system data gaps, quality issues, harmonization needs, and manual data requirementsCoordinate with customer SMEs and data stewards for validation of business rules, KPI definitions, and UAT sign-offReview Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business requirements and usability expectationsFacilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, validation sessions, and issue-resolution discussionsMaintain requirement traceability from business need to source data, transformation logic, semantic model, report output, and UAT acceptanceSupport change management by documenting new, changed, or deferred requirements clearlySkills6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Functional AnalystStrong domain understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Operations, and operational reportingExperience working with ERP data, preferably across multiple ERP/source systemsStrong understanding of data mapping, source-to-target requirements, business rules, data quality validation, and reporting logicExperience with BI/reporting projects, preferably involving Power BI, semantic models, or enterprise data platformsAbility to work with business users to define KPIs and translate them into measurable reporting requirementsStrong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teamsExperience supporting UAT, report validation, and stakeholder sign-offAbility to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsExperience with Microsoft Fabric, data lakehouse concepts, or Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecturePrior experience in manufacturing analytics or supply chain transformation programsFamiliarity with KPIs such as Healthy Inventory Ratio, Days of Supply, Aged Inventory, Cycle Count Accuracy, DPO, Order Fill, Vendor OTD, Lead Time, Freight % of Sales, Tariff Cost, PPV, Cost Savings, Headcount, and AttritionExperience working with global manufacturing sites or multi-site operational reportingBasic SQL understanding to support data validation and requirement analysisExperience working in Agile/Sprint-based delivery modelsCompany OverviewAccion Labs is a global services technology firm focused on building and transforming software products through emerging technologies.
