Job Details
We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Remote Tax Senior to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions with a focus on multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, property tax returns, tax provision, and governmental regulations. This is a permanent remote position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Β Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Β Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Β Prepare and review multi-state income tax returns
Β Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns
Β Assist with tax provision and year-end accruals
Β Assist with general accruals and other accounting-related tasks
Β Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
Β Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Β Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Qualifications
Β Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions
Β Strong knowledge of multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns
Β Experience with tax provision and year-end accruals
Β Experience with governmental regulations and compliance
Β Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
Β CPA certification preferred
Β Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Β Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Β Ability to work independently and remotely
Β Detail-oriented and organized
