[Remote] Tax Resolution Analyst

The role involves researching complex tax issues, negotiating with agencies, and ensuring compliance across various tax jurisdictions.ResponsibilitiesResearch complex tax issues to develop effective tax resolution strategiesDemonstrate a broad knowledge of tax jurisdictions and skill sets(federal, state, and local taxing authorities), showing flexibility in assignment and dependability in executionPerform tax account reconciliations, often reviewing agency transcripts and investigating account issuesInvestigate root cause issues and guide prevention and risk mitigationDraft and/or review penalty abatement letters, putting together compelling defenses, substantiated by taxing authorities (often due to reasonable cause)Communicate with internal teammates and external customers to obtain information or required approvals for tax jurisdiction issues.
