Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Remote Tax Preparer to prepare and file individual tax returns accurately and on time. This position is open to experienced and entry-level candidates. Training is available. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Duties:
ā¢ Prepare and file federal and state tax returns
ā¢ Review W-2s, 1099s, and other tax documents
ā¢ Enter accurate data into tax preparation software
ā¢ Communicate with clients remotely (phone/email/portal)
ā¢ Ensure compliance with IRS regulations
ā¢ Maintain confidentiality of client information
Requirements:
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent
ā¢ Basic computer and communication skills
ā¢ Strong attention to detail
ā¢ Willingness to learn (training provided)
ā¢ PTIN required or willingness to obtain
ā¢ Reliable internet and secure home workspace
ā¢ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
