Job Summary:
Prepare and review tax returns, assuming primary responsibility for client engagements
Manage, supervise, and mentor staff, including professional development and technical guidance
Address complex tax issues, requiring creativity, research, and comprehension of tax law
Utilize various technologies to create, analyze, and present financial results
Ensure completion of engagements, identifying and addressing problem areas with minimal oversight
Proactively interact with clients to provide business and tax recommendations
Collaborate with the leadership team to improve the company and drive growth
Requirements:
Active CPA License
5+ years of experience in a small to medium-sized tax firm
Ability to review and prepare complex tax returns
Staff management and deadline management experience
Strong tax knowledge, research, planning, and projection skills
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
Experience with Ultratax CS and Practice Management Software (preferred)
Dedicated attention, with no second job or external clients
