The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks, ensuring smooth functioning to support organizational operations effectively.ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applicationsManage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and securityMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance and upgrades to ensure system reliability and availabilityConduct regular backups and implement data recovery plans to safeguard against data loss or system failuresCollaborate with the IT team to design and implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats and unauthorized accessProvide technical support and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network systems for end-usersDevelop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesEvaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and tools to improve system efficiency and performanceManage user accounts, permissions, and access levels across various systems and applicationsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
