The Onsite Survey Project Manager will oversee planning, production, and analysis utilizing cutting-edge reality capture technologies to deliver effective solutions for advanced manufacturing clients.ResponsibilitiesBuild and expand our geospatial business serving industrial facility and land development clients by leveraging digital twins, high accuracy geodetic control, scan-to-BIM, and precision monitoring for infrastructure projectsLead and mentor passionate professionals, cultivating a high-performing team ready to tackle complex challengesLeverage cutting-edge geospatial technologies to provide effective data acquisition, processing and quality control solutions for facility construction and monitoring challengesSupport business development efforts with private sector industrial companiesRepresent us as a thought leader solving technical and business problems while developing geospatial solutions tailored to project needsManage and supervise reality capture and surveying projects supporting complex construction projects, ensuring they meet design requirements, client specifications and are delivered on time and within budgetWork daily with clients, contractors, and internally to plan and coordinate geospatial resources completing data collection and analyses for various surveying and scanning tasks, ensuring seamless integration with other project componentsAssimilate and present data in comprehensive reports and project meetings and forums, effectively communicating technical findings and project progress to clients and stakeholdersLead technical efforts on projects and resource allocation, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentOversee the production of analysis calculations and technical reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence of surveying and point clouds to project standardsMaintain required health and safety credentials, enforce safety protocols, enhance workplace safety with recommendations for procedural and policy improvementsWork in a multi-disciplined team environment, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across our surveying teams, subcontractors, and partnersAct as key point of contact and meet with clients to maintain excellent relations, concisely explain project status, and address or remedy client concerns promptlyPrepare project scopes of work, cost proposals, budgets, schedules, and contracts, ensuring all project aspects are well-defined and agreed uponControl work-in-process, support program management to ensure accurate client billings, and monitor accounts receivable and collection efforts for projects.
