[Remote] Surety Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brown & Brown is seeking a Surety Account Manager to join their growing team. The role involves acting as a Surety Agent for customers, developing strong relationships, and securing the required Surety coverage to meet customer obligations. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, processing requests, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to Brown & Brown's compliance standards and procedures, including meticulous documentation, timely responses, processing timelines, and professional conductServe as a primary point of contact, promptly responding to customer and carrier inquiries via email and phone, providing expert guidance and solutionsIndependently manage a dedicated portfolio (size subject to volume and account type), demonstrating full ownership of client relationships, bond cycles, and complete submissions to underwritersPerform duties both independently and collaboratively within a team environmentProcess all requests promptly and efficiently, in areas of bonds, endorsements, audits, accounting/billing, and coordinate of claims/loss control servicesGather and compile customer information to prepare new bond submissions for existing accounts with surety companiesRespond promptly to customers and carrier inquiries via email and phoneManage bond renewals and generate invoicesMaintain and update surety files to ensure ongoing underwriting complianceReview bonds for accuracy and completenessExecute bonds under Power of Attorney and submit final bond documentation to surety companiesUndertake other assigned duties and special projectsDemonstrate a proactive approach in managing tasks and resolving issuesParticipate in training and development activities to maintain current skills and licensingSkillsBachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalentA minimum of Two (2) years' experience as a Surety Account ManagerCurrent P&C licenseSolid knowledge and understanding of surety, bond types, current rules, laws, and other regulationsFamiliarity with contracts and their provisionsFluent with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and ExcelAMS360, Erlon, or ImageRight experience or skills to learn software program at an accelerated abilityBenefitsMedical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementFree Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesPaid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Company OverviewBrown & Brown delivers risk management solutions to help protect and preserve what our customers value most.
