[Remote] Strategic Initiatives VP - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prime Therapeutics is a purpose-driven pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) looking to build the future of pharmacy. The Strategic Initiatives VP will lead efforts in identifying industry trends, driving innovation, and developing strategic positions to capitalize on market opportunities.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Continuously monitor and analyze market dynamics and future trends through both internal and external sources in the health, pharma, and PBM markets to identify strategic opportunities
ā¢ Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including subject matter experts (SMEs), to assess ideas and trends, develop structured forecasts of future scenarios, and facilitate consensus on points of view (POVs)
ā¢ Develop strategic positions and business cases to determine whether to (a) take no action, (b) monitor and watch for specific inflection points, or (c) develop and implement a solution
ā¢ Design, develop, and conduct pilot programs in coordination with IT, Operations, and other functional areas to validate innovative solutions and refine them for market launch
ā¢ Develop persuasive points of view (POVs) and PowerPoint presentations that drive strategic actions and decisions
ā¢ Present findings and recommendations to both internal and external client and owner audiences, effectively communicating complex ideas in a clear and impactful manner
ā¢ Other duties as assigned
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in business administration, health administration, marketing, or related fields or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
ā¢ 12 years of work experience in health care with specific experience in pharmacy from one or more of the areas of retail pharmacy, specialty, health plan pharmacy, PBM, wholesaler, and/or pharma
ā¢ Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
ā¢ Experience in innovation strategy, market analysis, and trend evaluation
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
ā¢ Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to disseminate complex material for a variety of audiences at all levels of enterprise and key external partners and clients
ā¢ Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
ā¢ Experience with Lean Start-up methodologies and Fail Fast approaches
ā¢ Master's degree in business (MBA) or health administration (MHA) or related area of study
ā¢ People leadership experience
ā¢ PBM experience
ā¢ Management consulting experience
ā¢ Clinical knowledge or degree
