This role involves supporting sales strategies for major accounts, managing existing business, and driving revenue growth while ensuring high-quality customer service.ResponsibilitiesKey contributor to growing market share through the application of sales plans, strategies, objectives, policies and procedures aligned to broad corporate sales and marketing objectivesProvide exceptional customer support and execution on required responsibilities to retain business and drive increased profitabilityResolve problems and ensure customers receive high-quality customer serviceMaintain personal contact with key customers in assigned accountsWork directly with other key sales personnel to launch new accounts and on any "save" opportunities to accounts under threat or lossMaintain existing sales programsWork directly with the Medline Field Sales team to promote sales goals and initiativesFacilitate the formal and non-formal RFP processDevelop and implement sales tools and programs; educate and communicate activity and successManage account program costs, (i.e., advertising, rebates, buyback and slotting allowance, etc.) while maximizing salesTrack customer sales performance against objectives and inform management of resultsBuild and distribute reports, and specialized reports on contracts, programs and focus areas to appropriate partnersSkillsTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in a business or clinical-related fieldAt least 4 years of account management or/and sales experienceExperience preparing business plans to align/support selling strategiesExperience developing and delivering technical presentations to various group sizesExposure to and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) softwareProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuitePosition requires travel up to ___% of the time for business purposes (overnight, within state and out of state)Environment includes office setting and medical facilitiesPosition may require non-traditional work hours during in-servicesBenefitsHealth insuranceLife and disability401(k) contributionsPaid time offCompany OverviewMedline is the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions serving all points of care.
