[Remote] Staff Software Engineer

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to take long-term ownership of significant domains within their clearing house and drive the architecture and implementation of backend systems in Go on GCP.ResponsibilitiesLong-term ownership of a significant domain within the clearing house: customer onboarding workflows, entitlement management, or data validation pipelinesDrive the architecture and implementation of backend systems in Go on GCP, ensuring they're production-ready: tested, observable, and maintainableLead the design of data pipelines that ingest unstructured vulnerability reports, deduplicate findings, and produce clean structured outputsEstablish and model engineering best practices for the team: code review standards, testing, incident responsePartner closely with the principal engineer and manager on technical planning, architecture alignment and roadmap sequencingCollaborate with the libraries team on interface contracts and data quality requirementsSkills7+ years of backend engineering experience with a clear track record of owning large, complex systems in productionStrong Go engineering skills; GCP and Terraform experienceExperience building systems that process and validate data from heterogeneous, unstructured sources with an analytical, research-based mindsetYou've taken a business problem from prototype or MVP to a reliable, scalable production serviceExperience designing systems with multiple customer entitlement levels, access controls, and workflow routingComfortable with observability tooling: you don't just ship features, you make sure they're healthy in productionBackground in security, supply chain, or infrastructure domains is a plus but not requiredBenefitsFlexible & Remote-First Culture: Work remotely with team meetup opportunities, bi-annual destination summits, and a monthly stipend for coworking spaces, phone and internet costs.Our Approach to Equity: Receive stock options upon hire and promotion.
