[Remote] Staff Accountant (Remote - Local to DFW area)

The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing basic accounting functions and supporting Senior Accountants in the overall accounting cycle. Responsibilities • Cash/bank reconciliations • Prepare JV financials (i.e. run and organize reports) • Prepare JV cash flows • Prepare rent/CAM invoices (as applicable) • Review rent summaries to ensure any rate increases have been captured • Balance Sheet reconciliations • Promote customer satisfaction, both internal and external • Assist as needed to perform other related duties and special projects as required • Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization • Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job Skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Outlook) with Intermediate Excel Skills; proficiency in USRC applications required within 90 days of hire. • Previous Experience with Great Plains or D365 (preferred but not required) Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
