They are seeking a passionate and strategic AI/ML Product Manager to drive merchant presence and shopping experiences on their platform, collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative AI and ML solutions.ResponsibilitiesDefine, design, and launch thoughtful AI/ML-powered experiences that help users discover, curate, and shop ideas tailored to their unique tastePartner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to craft seamless and delightful experiences at the intersection of user experience, ML, and AISet product vision, influence strategy, write requirements, develop hypotheses, and establish success metrics for critical personalization initiativesIdentify and prioritize new opportunities to advance the relevance, impact, and sophistication of personalization across Pinterest’s Curation portfolioAutonomously navigate and resolve complex, ambiguous product challenges—and influence product strategy across multiple teamsSkillsTrack record in AI/ML products: Experience building and launching personalized experiences, ideally at scale, for e-commerce platformsTechnical fluency: Strong understanding of AI/ML product development; usage of LLMs for scale, ability to credibly partner with engineers and data scientists across the stackStrong product discovery skills: You're comfortable talking to business customers, mapping workflows, validating problems, and translating insights into clear product strategies and roadmapsSharp communication: Comfortable presenting to executives and cross-functional audiences; excels at simplifying complex technical and product concepts to drive clear decisionsComfort with ambiguity and a bias for action: You can bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces and move quickly while keeping stakeholders informedStrategic and customer-centric: Deep empathy for user needs, with an ability to turn rich data and insights into new opportunities and delightful featuresEcosystem Understanding: Strong experience in B2B2C or 'dual-customer' operating models to deliver delightful experiences for multiple stakeholdersCollaborative influencer: Ability to build trusted relationships with a variety of internal partners (including Advanced Technology, Product Marketing, Sales, Trust & Safety, Monetization, and more) and align them to shared goalsOwnership mindset: Skilled at defining what success looks like, rallying teams, and guiding projects from ideation to successful launchBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experienceBenefitsThe position is also eligible for equity.Information regarding the culture at Pinterest and benefits available for this position can be found here.Company OverviewPinterest is a visual bookmarking tool for saving and discovering creative ideas.
