[Remote] Sr Product Manager

Solenis is a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Product Manager to optimize their North American Microbio product portfolio. This role involves improving margin performance, reducing product costs, and partnering with sales and marketing to increase win rates.ResponsibilitiesOptimize regional product portfolio:Align product mix to enhance competitiveness, margins, and growthLead product slate rationalization and define clear regional differentiationMaintain a fact-based view of competitors, incorporating regional market dynamicsGuide marketing, pricing, and sales teams on product positioning and value propositionsEstablish product hierarchy, groupings, and naming conventions to support profitabilityOwn and manage pricing strategy, including list and target pricesProvide input on pricing for new products and advise on regional pricing strategy frameworksReduce product costs (in partnership with supply chain):Ensure products are manufactured at optimal plants and assets for efficiencyProvide direction on product wheel management and manufacturing strategyDevelop regional supply strategies for raw materials, feedstock, and finished goodsSupport procurement decisions to balance cost, quality, and reliabilityManage relationships with critical third-party suppliersCollaborate with supply chain and procurement, who execute day-to-day operationsSupport sales and drive win rates:Contribute product and industry expertise to key deals, campaigns, and proposalsHelp position offerings effectively against competitorsCoach sales and marketing teams on product strengths, weaknesses, and use casesParticipate in high-value customer engagements to strengthen deal outcomesSupport marketing-led efforts by advising on segment prioritization, product selection, and growth initiativesGuide new product development and commercialization in coordination with R&DSkillsBachelor's degree or better in a technical field3–5+ years of experience in the MB product line for which you would be responsible; exposure to the pricing process is necessaryStrategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to apply analytical solutions to business problemsStrong time management and cross-functional people management skillsExcellent communication, presentation, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate team membersDemonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple teamsFinancial and business acumenExcellent interpersonal skillsExecutive presence and ability to influenceStrong written and oral presentation skillsCandidates with technical applications and sales experience are preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits which include medical, dental, vision & 401KNumerous opportunities for professional growth and developmentCompany OverviewSolenis is a producer of specialty chemicals for industrial water treatment operations.
