They are seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to drive and elevate the end-to-end experience of their global e-commerce platform, ensuring intuitive and efficient interactions for millions of users.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design across multiple initiatives, from early concept and problem framing through stakeholder alignment and final deliveryConduct user research and usability testing to understand shopping behaviors and translate insights into effective, data-informed design solutionsCreate high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsChampion a cohesive and scalable design language, leveraging and contributing to the design system while ensuring global usability and accessibility standardsPartner closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, well-implemented, and delivered with high fidelityCollaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other designers to influence product direction and design decisionsMaintain a high bar for design quality and consistency, from concept through implementationProvide design guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping raise overall design quality and craftStay current with UX, UI, and e-commerce best practices, and apply them thoughtfully to improve product experiences at scaleSkills10+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or Product Design, including experience designing e-commerce or shopping-related productsA strong portfolio demonstrating prior UX and UI work, including shopping or e-commerce experiences, that clearly showcases problem-solving, design thinking, and execution qualityProven ability to deliver successful design outcomes that balance user needs, business impact, and product complexityStrong interaction and visual design skills, with a high bar for modern UI craftDemonstrated experience working with and evolving design systems at scaleSolid grounding in user-centered design methodologies, research practices, and usability testingStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and trade-offs to cross-functional partners and stakeholdersFamiliarity with front-end development principles and common implementation constraintsWorking knowledge of accessibility standards and best practicesBachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Graphic Arts/Design, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceAble to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacyAbility to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely mannerExperience designing for global or multi-market products is a plusBenefitsEmployees (and their families) that meet eligibility criteria as outlined in applicable plan documents are eligible to participate in our medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance programs and may enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan.Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company’s policies.Employees will enjoy paid holidays throughout the calendar year.Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.Company OverviewiHerb is on a mission to make health and wellness accessible to all.
