[Remote] Sr. IT Project Manager – M&A Infrastructure

The Senior IT Project Manager – M&A Infrastructure leads infrastructure initiatives supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead infrastructure projects across all lifecycle phases, including due diligence, planning, execution, and stabilizationDefine project scope and deliverables across networking/connectivity, cloud/hosting, identity, and endpoint servicesDevelop and manage detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource allocationCoordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment on objectives and timelinesIdentify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate to maintain project momentumSupport Day 1 readiness and Day 2 transition execution for M&A initiativesMaintain project governance, including status reporting, communication plans, and decision trackingEnsure compliance with enterprise delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and security standardsFacilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement activitiesSkills6–8 years of experience leading IT projectsExperience managing cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environmentsExperience with M&A, system integrations, or infrastructure deliveryWorking knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including networking and connectivityExperience applying Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project methodologiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience coordinating vendors and external partnersAbility to manage multiple concurrent projectsExperience with tools such as Planview, Jira, Smartsheet, or MS ProjectStrong problem-solving and execution focusPMP, Prince2, or equivalent preferredAgile certifications (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe) a plusITIL Foundation a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total RewardsAnnual bonus or long-term incentive opportunitiesFor more information regarding benefits at McKesson, please click here.Company OverviewWelcome to the official LinkedIn page for McKesson Corporation.
