The role involves working closely with clients to develop GIS-driven solutions, manage projects, and promote the use of Esri technology to enhance customer success.ResponsibilitiesTranslate client needs into practical, GIS-driven solutions using Esri’s enterprise technologyDevelop multi-year GIS implementation and migration strategies, including Esri Network Management system upgradesGather and present client requirements and workflows to create actionable strategies and plansAnalyze business and technical challenges to design manageable, effective solutionsProvide expert guidance on GIS and ArcGIS Utility Network technologiesLead project teams through all phases: requirements, analysis, design, build, and rolloutOversee scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables using planning, tracking, QA, change control, and risk managementManage projects from small technical engagements to large-scale enterprise implementationsMaintain client relationships, manage expectations, and coordinate subcontractorsCollaborate with Esri’s marketing and sales teams to support business developmentSkills8+ years of significant, proven experience applying GIS technology within electric and gas utilities sector including Utility Network implementations and/or migrationsDomain expertise throughout the electric and gas utilities market, including electric and/or gas distribution and transmissionExperience with Esri products to solve complex business problemsFamiliarity with RDBMS and geodatabase design techniques and conceptsDemonstrated professional experience applying electric and gas utilities GIS data management frameworksKnowledge of software development methodologiesAbility to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedulesExperience with desktop, client/server, and Internet applications and architectureExcellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skillsBachelor's degree in information systems, GIS, computer science, or a relevant fieldVisa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
