[Remote] Sr. Cloud Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer who will design, implement, and support cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and GCC High environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant cloud solutions.ResponsibilitiesArchitect, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security servicesAdminister and optimize Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and security/compliance featuresSupport and maintain GCC High (Government Community Cloud) environments, ensuring adherence to federal compliance and security requirementsLead configuration, policy development, and lifecycle management in Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for Windows, iOS, and Android devicesDesign, deploy, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including image management, FSLogix, scaling, and performance tuningManage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) in hybrid environmentsAdminister and enhance identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity governanceImplement cloud security best practices, monitoring, and compliance controls across Azure and M365Troubleshoot complex cloud, identity, and infrastructure issues across hybrid environmentsDevelop documentation, runbooks, and operational standards for cloud servicesSkills8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or enterprise infrastructure rolesStrong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and securityProven experience working within GCC High or other regulated cloud environmentsDeep expertise with Microsoft Intune for device and application managementStrong proficiency with Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Key Vault, Monitoring, Automation)Experience deploying and supporting Azure Virtual DesktopSolid background in Windows Server and enterprise infrastructureStrong understanding of identity management using Microsoft Entra IDAbility to design secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architecturesExperience with Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar)Certifications such as: AZ‑104: Microsoft Azure Administrator, SC‑300: Identity and Access AdministratorExperience with automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep, Terraform)Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and cloud security frameworksBenefitsMedical (BC-BS), dental, and vision plans to suit your needs.Generous PTO, paid holidays, and increasing PTO based on years of service.401(k) plan with company match and auto-enrollment.Short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D insurance.Voluntary benefits including pet insurance and student loan assistance up to $1,000 annually.FSAs, HSAs, wellness programs, and more to enhance your work-life balance.Company OverviewItero Group is a Women-Owned Small Business that brings simplicity to complex transformations.
