TTC, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Development (BD) Manager to lead and manage business development efforts, focusing on capturing key opportunities in defense and national security sectors. The role involves defining target opportunities, leading proposal development, and collaborating with senior leaders and teams to align with the company's growth objectives.ResponsibilitiesWork with TTC BD team and senior leaders to define and qualify target opportunities via company capabilities, teams and markets to establish key pursuitsLead full life cycle capture management, BD lead and solutioning activities, including pipeline development, grooming, assessment, pursuit, capture, and bid processesDemonstrative experience leading and writing proposals; skilled developing staffing, technical and past performance proposal solutionsLearn and be able to speak fluently to TTC’s capabilities and technical differentiatorsConduct business intelligence and analysis activities to understand corporate capabilities/gaps, strategies, and win themesAnalyze defense and national security customer organizations, challenges, budgets, and other items necessary to develop winning proposal strategiesDevelop teaming strategies and meet with business leaders to execute capture planAlign pipeline to meet TTC’s growth objectives and effectively lead 4 – 6 captures and proposals of select prime opportunities at any given timeMeet with prospective government customers to exchange information, understand challenges, influence requirements, and share information on potential solutionsServe as opportunity owner for associated proposals, including leading strategy sessions, pursuit/bid briefs, kickoff briefs, identifying necessary support resources, providing inputs for content as necessary, and securing approval from corporate leadershipOversee the development of proposal packages to tell a compliant, compelling story that effectively articulates win themesDrafting and refining sections of the proposal, including executive summaries, technical volumes, management plans, past performance, and cost volumesBe a collaborative member of the BD, proposal, and operations teamsSkillsBachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred10+ years of experience performing business development and capture management activities with a successful win rateExperience working bids on various contract vehicles, such as GSA MAS or OASISExperience developing and executing capture strategies for new business opportunitiesExperience leading proposals developing staffing plans, providing technical solutions, and creating past performance submissionsExperience crafting compelling executive summaries, technical solutions that address the customer's needs, and comprehensive management and staffing plansStrong relationships across multiple relevant Federal / DoD and subordinate organizationsDemonstrated ability leading and winning business pursuits in the small business (SB) and full and open (F&) marketOutstanding teamwork and collaboration skills to work with internal and external teamsStrong relationships and demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leadersStrong skills in oral and written communicationAble to travel 25%Company OverviewFounded in 2005 and headquartered in Newport News, VA, TTC is a small business that delivers best value Professional, Engineering, and Technical (AOC WS, Cyber Zero Trust, IT) Services and solutions through the innovative application of our team members’ experience and use of current, innovative technologies.
