The Sr. Analytics & Insights Analyst will be a strategic partner for business leaders, leveraging data to drive decision-making and optimize performance across various departments, while mentoring junior analysts.ResponsibilitiesLead analytical initiatives that support enterprise-level strategic priorities, including sales performance optimization, customer acquisition and retention strategy, and channel attribution modelingPartner closely with business stakeholders to define analytical goals and requirements, and translate ambiguous business questions into structured, data driven analysisDesign and develop advanced analytical models using statistical and predictive techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, classification, time series forecasting) to evaluate performance and inform business strategiesCreate and manage KPI dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into the performance of marketing campaigns, sales channels, and customer cohortsMentor junior analysts, reviewing their work for analytical rigor, clarity, and business relevanceTransform large, complex datasets into actionable insights, clearly communicating findings through storytelling and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel)Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data architecture and pipelines that align with analytical and reporting needsConduct deep-dive analyses on customer behaviors, product performance, and retention activity effectiveness to uncover trends and provide recommendationsSkillsBachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science)5+ years of experience in a business analytics role, ideally within a direct-to consumer environmentAdvanced proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated ability to manipulate large datasets, build automated workflows, and conduct statistical analysesStrong understanding of statistical methods, experimental design (e.g., A/B testing), and modeling techniques, and ability to apply them to business problemsProven experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel to communicate insights clearly and impactfullyPrior experience in the Medicare, ACA Health, or broader health insurance industryExperience with customer retention modeling, lead funnel analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiencesA proactive mindset for mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of business outcomes through dataBenefitsMedical, dental and vision beginning on your first day of employment401K with matchingTuition reimbursementEmployee stock purchase program12 company paid holidays and flexible time off (PTO for non-exempt)An annual performance bonusCompany OverviewFor nearly 30 years, eHealth has helped millions of Americans find the healthcare coverage that fits their needs at a price they can afford, using data, artificial intelligence and a consumer-first approach to help people quickly and effectively compare insurance options.
