[Remote] Sr. Account Manager - Aerospace & Defense (SoCal)

Tektronix is seeking a driven and strategic Account Manager to lead sales of their Test & Measurement solutions in the Southern California region. The role involves managing and growing relationships with Department of Defense enterprise accounts, driving sales, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for major DoW enterprise accounts in the Southern California regionDrive sales of Tektronix’s Test & Measurement portfolio, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, Keithley, and EA productsDevelop and execute account strategies to maximize growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnershipsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and adjacent organizationsManage sales pipeline and forecasting activities within CRM for accurate visibility and planningCollaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, customer support) to deliver tailored solutionsStay current on industry trends, defense initiatives, and government procurement processesSkillsProven experience in technical sales, account management, or business development—preferably with DoW or Aerospace customersStrong knowledge of test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, etc.)Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional teamExperience managing pipeline and forecast in CRM systemsWillingness to travel within the Southern California region and surrounding areasBachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related fieldExperience with DoW programs, defense contractors, and government procurement processesFamiliarity with Keithley and Elektro-Automatik (EA) products is a plusDemonstrated ability to develop account plans and execute strategic sales initiativesHigh level of initiative, organization, and results orientationCompany OverviewTektronix specializes in calibration, testing, repair, asset management, and factory services.
