Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $28-35/hour, depending on experience
Location: Remote (work from home)
Start Date: Immediate openings available, with opportunities for the 2025-2026 school year
As a Remote Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will be treated as an independent 1099 contractor, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule and finances. You will work full-time hours (35-40 hours per week), including indirect time, and will be compensated for 100% of your working hours.
Position Details:
Contract: 1099 independent contracting structure
Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time
Platform: Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
Rate: $28-35/hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Provide synchronous online instruction for students with IEPs
Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs
Facilitate virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members
Requirements:
Degree: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (Master's Degree preferred)
Certification: South Carolina state certification for Special Education
Experience: Past SPED teaching experience, with remote experience preferred
Set Up: Home computer with camera and microphone functions, strong internet connection, and capability to run Zoom or Microsoft Teams
