The Store Technology Experience Platform (STEP) team is seeking a collaborative and driven problem solver to help deliver cohesive and scalable store experiences, empowering store technology teams and enhancing customer interactions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop existing software and contribute to development of new software by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Develop new software that is fast, secure and reliable to meet defined requirementsMonitor, identify, and correct moderately complex software defects to maintain fully functioning software, with limited supervision from othersSupport efforts to research and suggest ways to optimize solutions to better meet user and/or business, performance, quality needsMaintain road map to facilitate software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirementsFind root cause and resolution to limit and address issues promptlySupport collection of functional requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctlyDesign database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to tune database solutions for optimum performance with some support from other teammatesUnderstand how to work within an established program management plan to achieve specific goalsDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
