The role involves contributing to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by completing projects and tasks while adhering to quality measures under the guidance of senior team members.ResponsibilitiesApplication Development Cycle - Show fundamental knowledge of application development cycleQuality - Follow established coding and unit testing standards. Submit code for review and deliver quality, unit test code.Participate in peer code reviewsRemote Work Proficiency - Be highly available and responsive on chat during Eastern time work hours. Be on time for meetings. Use camera when askedInteractions with Others - Successfully completes projects, tasks, and initiatives by embracing a team-first approach. Works in collaboration with team and offers feedback, where appropriate, to complete individual and group efforts. Shows the ability to adjust and be flexible to change by adapting approach when necessarySecurity - Show fundamental knowledge and the ability to learn secure coding processes and writing, accessing, and following established security protocolsDesign - Follow established design patterns and has awareness of back-end design and user experience standards. Responsible for individual components of designTroubleshooting - Show the ability to resolve basic issues and offer input on issue resolutionIntegration - Responsible for less complex components of integration within a moduleDocumentation - Create basic technical documentationProject Management - Has ownership in success of projects. Responsible for estimating and delivering on individual task within projectCommunication - Responsible for demonstrating appropriate, clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications in all interactions to build relationships and accomplish day to day work and projectsSelf-Development - Responsible for continuous self-study, trainings, partnering with more senior members of team, and/or seeking out opportunities to broaden scope to stay up to date with industry and organizational trends. Seeks feedback from senior team members for development and effectively incorporates feedback into work and behaviorsSoftware Solutions - Develop, validate and implement software solutions based on customer requirements, Enterprise architecture standards and defined project designsPerforms other duties as assignedPerforms in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviorsTypically has familiarity with the work through education or practical experienceExperience with complex development environments, taking abstract concepts and ideas and formulating a detailed software deliverable Experience in developing on cross-functional systemsDeep knowledge of programming.
