We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Software Engineer to join our Pilot Innovation team at American Airlines. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in utilizing technology to solve business problems and drive innovation. Job Summary:
In this exciting role, you will participate in all stages of the development cycle, from inception to support, and advocate for agility and object-oriented development tools. You will analyze, model, design, develop, and test effective and reusable code, ensuring the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be essential in providing test automation services, planning, designing, creating, and executing automated test scripts across existing services, applications, and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts across existing services, applications, and platforms
Collaborate with leaders, experts, IT architects, technical leads, developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and test applications that meet business needs
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and implement them to improve application performance and security
Test and automate testing of existing services, applications, and platforms, ensuring compliance with best practices and security guidelines
Work closely with technical leaders to ensure decisions align with long-term enterprise and industry growth strategies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
3+ years of full Programming Improvement Life Cycle (SDLC) experience working alongside product ownership and programmers to build, test, and automate testing of large-scale applications in hosted production environments
Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and various tools: Azure DevOps, Git
Preferred experience with aircraft industry, including business systems and technology, peaceful API development using .NET stack, object-oriented design techniques, and principles
