The Social Media Content Specialist will engage with online communities, moderate comments, and create content that resonates with audiences while ensuring a safe and respectful environment.ResponsibilitiesModerating and responding to comments across our clients' social channels using their unique brand voiceWriting thoughtful, engaging content to spark conversations and drive engagementEnsuring online communities are safe, respectful, and aligned with client guidelinesEscalating issues, insights, or trends to the internal team when neededBecoming a true extension of our clients’ brands - understanding their strategy, tone, and audienceSkillsDemonstrated, high-level proficiency in English with strong cultural awarenessExceptionally strong written communication skills (spelling, grammar, clarity) in EnglishYou live in Canada and are legally allowed to work hereYou're open and available to work any shift, any day - including weekendsYou've got professional experience managing social platforms, specifically moderating and engagingYou know how to write for brands and can adapt your tone for different audiencesYou know your way around and the ins and outs of all the major social platformsYou're into the kind of content you'll be moderating - whether it's tech, retail, food, or hospitality and tourism, you're curious and engagedYou're organized, reliable, and have excellent customer service instinctsYou have fast, reliable internet with no data restrictionsYou also have an active Facebook accountFluency in additional languages an assetBenefitsA range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all hourly employees working a minimum of 22 hours a week.Company OverviewICUC is a social media management services company delivering content moderation, community management, strategy, and social listening services.
