[Remote] Sitecore Engineer, Lead Consultant- Remote

They are seeking a Lead Consultant Sitecore Engineer who will develop customizations and websites on the Sitecore CMS platform, while also contributing to its maintenance and guiding team members in their feature development.ResponsibilitiesDevelop overall product planning by contributing to/creating stories for complex features in areas of responsibility, including guiding the story development for other team members who may be learningOrganize, lead and finalize feature review sessions for complex business issues/requirements and document resulting decisions; provide coaching to newer team members on their features and deliveryCreate the functional design, leveraging moderate technical skills, to address complex business processes or issues or to address the requirements of a set of product featuresConfigure or develop within the Sitecore CMS; review and verify operation of new vendor release features. Leverage Sitecore defect resolution procedures and support tools to resolve issuesEngage in pair-programming and Test-Driven Development full time to develop websites based on the Sitecore CMS utilizing Sitecore Experience Accelerator for Headless sitesProvide training for other team members and users; assist in developing team bench strengthUse knowledge of integrated requirements to evaluate proposed software products in line with strategic corporate and vendor directionSupport the planning, conduct, and review of module and integration testing for all but the most complex projectsManage the issues and blockers for assigned features and product storiesIn partnership with the business groups and technical teams, provide knowledge and support for resolving technology issues in multiple areas of the business; acknowledged as a subject matter expert in multiple processes and applicationsSkills5+ years of experience developing and maintaining solutions on the Sitecore CMS platform, including custom components, templates, and integrations1+ years of experience building headless solutions using Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) and/or Sitecore Headless Services (JSS)Strong experience developing React-based front-end applications integrated with Sitecore headless architectureProficiency in .NET / C# development within Sitecore environmentsExperience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns for headless CMS implementationsFamiliarity with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git) in a Sitecore delivery environment1+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore 10.x, including Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) capabilities (e.g., personalization, analytics, content management)BenefitsAllstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.Employees eligible to work from home also receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.Company OverviewAllstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
