Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amtex Systems Inc is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery Administrator to manage and troubleshoot Discovery processes. The role involves ensuring the health of the CMDB, establishing data standards, and overseeing integrations and audits related to Configuration Items.ResponsibilitiesOwn and monitor the CMDB Health Dashboard, addressing issues related to Completeness, Compliance, and CorrectnessIdentify and remediate duplicate and orphaned CIs using Duplicate Identification and Remediation (DIR) toolsEstablish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and CI class governanceUtilize CMDB Workspace and Data Manager to manage and maintain high-quality CI dataPartner closely with CI owners to validate accuracy and lifecycle alignmentConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery schedules to ensure automated, accurate infrastructure mappingOversee the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) and IntegrationHub / ETL processesEnsure integrations from external data sources (e.g., SCCM, Jamf, Azure) reconcile cleanly without introducing duplicate or inconsistent CI recordsSupport Service Mapping and Discovery Pattern development as neededLead and support CMDB audits, validating alignment between physical infrastructure and ServiceNow recordsEnforce Configuration Management best practices and continuous improvementSkillsServicenow Discovery- Need someone who has extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting DiscoveryCI Life cycle- CI Means Configuration Item ExperienceCMDB ManagerStrong hands-on experience administering ServiceNow CMDBDeep understanding of the cmdb_ci table hierarchy and Common Service Data Model (CSDM)Proven experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and IREExperience supporting or integrating with asset data sources and external systemsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) β RequiredFamiliarity with IT Asset Management concepts (HAM & SAM experience strongly preferred)Company OverviewFounded in 1997, with headquarters on Wall Street, New York, Amtex operates across four continents, delivering digital solutions and technical expertise in software, BI, mobile apps, cybersecurity, and talent management.
