[Remote] Service Representative, Brokerage Placement – Commercial Lines

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Service Representative, Brokerage Placement – Commercial Lines to join their growing team. The primary functions of this role include servicing and helping to retain commercial business through timely, accurate handling of policy service requests from retail agents via email and phone.ResponsibilitiesRespond to retail agent service inquiries (email/phone) within established service-level standards and route complex items appropriatelyProcess endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, payment status inquiries, and general policy status requests across commercial insurance lines of business including casualty, property, financial, and management lines and various other lines of businessIssue and deliver Certificates of Insurance; verify accuracy prior to deliveryAccess carrier portals to retrieve/process endorsements, and other service items as neededFollow up on open tasks to close in first time-final mode whenever possibleCollaborate with brokers and carrier contacts to resolve service issues and clarify requirementsEscalate non-routine requests or items requiring broker or carrier reviewFollow carrier guidelines, state regulations, surplus lines requirements (as applicable to service tasks), and internal proceduresMay perform other responsibilities as assignedSkillsActive P&C and Surplus lines licenses (or ability to obtain within 45 days)Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers at all levelsExcellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasksAbility to understand and efficiently utilize manual and automated technology platformsBachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field1-2 years commercial lines insurance experience (wholesale or retail); commercial servicing experience strongly valuedProfessional designations such as CISR, CIC, CPCU, or equivalentTwo or more years of insurance work experience or bachelor's degreeBenefitsHealth Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Company OverviewBridge Specialty Group provides property, casualty, professional, health, and lifer insurance brokerage services.
