The Senior Technical Operations Solutions Consultant enhances warehouse efficiency by analyzing, mapping, and optimizing operational processes with a strong focus on SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).ResponsibilitiesLeads assessments of warehouse and supply chain processes, focusing on SAP WM/EWM environments to identify improvement opportunitiesDevelops process maps, identifies bottlenecks, and recommends actionable strategies to enhance operational performanceDesigns, updates, and implements clear, practical, and error-proof SOPs aligned with industry standards and SAP best practicesFacilitates client workshops, gathers requirements, and helps clients prioritize operational changesPartners with supply chain leaders and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologiesGuides Junior Operations Consultants in developing training materials and supporting SOP implementationMonitors performance metrics, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement initiativesStays current on industry trends, SAP WM/EWM capabilities, and emerging best practicesManages, coaches, and evaluates Junior Operations Consultants; participates in hiring and talent developmentTravels up to 50% to client sites to evaluate operations and support implementation activitiesPromotes a high-performance, collaborative culture and adheres to all quality and information security standardsSkillsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience8+ years of experience creating and implementing SOPs to improve warehouse operations8+ years of experience analyzing warehouse processes and developing actionable solutions8+ years of experience mapping current and future-state processes8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP WM and EWMExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologiesActive or obtainable U.S. government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex operational initiativesExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholdersProven ability to lead, coach, and develop junior team membersAbility to travel up to 50%Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologiesPrior consulting experience in a similar operations or SAP-focused roleExperience using SAP modules beyond WM/EWMExperience working with U.S. Government agencies (DLA preferred)Familiarity with warehouse automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, or digital supply chain toolsExposure to change management, training development, or workshop facilitationTechnical proficiency with complementary tools that enhance warehouse operationsBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverageA 401(k) planBonus opportunitiesPaid holidaysPaid time offCompany Overviewc5mi, a management and operational technology consultancy firm.
