[Remote] Senior Tax Accountant

They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Accountant to co-build the tax function, manage projects, and ensure compliance while driving process improvements.ResponsibilitiesCo-Build the Function: Partner with finance leadership to establish, automate, and scale our internal tax processes and strategies as the company expands globallyProject Management: Act as the primary project manager for external tax advisors, ensuring deliverables (like federal, state, and international tax returns) are accurate and on scheduleTax Close & Provisions: Own the quarter-end and annual tax provision process (ASC 740), prepare tax journal entries, and perform flux analyses with a keen eye for detailAudit & Notice Ownership: Project-manage responses to tax audits and notices, proactively gathering documentation and resolving inquiries efficientlyCuriosity-Driven Special Projects: Lead research and execution on special projects, including R&D tax credits, international expansion, transfer pricing, and state nexus evaluationProcess Automation: Constantly question the status quo.
